Job Summary
Review purchase orders, statements, check requests, and receiving reports for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval daily. Input invoice and check request information into the A/P system, assign vendor numbers, and process payments by matching checks to invoices and check requests. Communicate with departments to obtain accurate paperwork, sort incoming mail, and research vendor statements to communicate findings by month end. Prepare monthly Accounts Payable board reports, analyze invoices for accruals, and assist with cash reports, trade balancing, and fixed asset collections. Submit credit card vendor files, compile 1099s, and mail tax documents by deadline. Provide support to the Director of Finance and Payroll as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school education
- Ability to operate a 10-key adding machine
- Ability to typewrite
- Ability to use a Windows based computer
- Ability to meet deadlines
