Job Summary
Coordinate daily unit operations to support RNs, physicians, and ancillary staff within the 32-bed Gateway Observation Unit. Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers while using communication devices to support unit workflow and coordination. Communicate technical and regulatory information clearly and professionally to patients, families, and care teams to help maintain efficient patient flow. Ensure clear, timely communication across the care team during the 8–24 hour evaluation window. Complete required Epic class training and obtain Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider certification within six months of hire
- Successfully completes Epic class as required by care center/unit
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a high school education or equivalent (GED)
