Job Summary
Clerical Assistant at Auchmuty High School provides front-line administrative support within a busy secondary school. Responsibilities include delivering clerical support and maintaining computer systems and processes to support service delivery; producing high-quality documentation such as emails, letters, notices, spreadsheets and meeting minutes; ensuring accurate record keeping and efficient office systems; working under the direction of the Admin Coordinator / Business Manager and collaborating with the wider administrative team to support pupils, staff and families. Requires PVG scheme membership and a minimum of SCQF level 4 qualifications including English and Maths; 36 hours per week over 39 weeks; pro-rata salary range £25,604.23–£26,786.83 (GBP). The role emphasizes teamwork, confidentiality, customer service, and effective use of IT and office systems.
Required Qualifications
