Job Summary
Clerical Assistant needed to provide administrative support for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining records and filing systems (including confidential materials), scheduling appointments and events, handling mail and communications, coordinating supplies, and supporting parish/school/ministry events. The role requires data entry, document preparation, calendar management, and ensuring policy compliance, with emphasis on effective communication and customer service. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks discreetly are essential. Experience in clerical/office support (1–2 years preferred) and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; an associate degree or additional administrative training is preferred. The position is full-time and in-person within Missouri locations associated with parishes and administrative services of the Archdiocese. Equal opportunity employer.
