Job Summary
ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant needed to design, configure, and develop ServiceNow ITOM solutions for clients, including Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and cloud/connectors. Lead technical workshops, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver end-to-end ITOM implementations with integrations to enterprise systems (e.g., Azure AD, HR, ERP) using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub. Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and ensure security/privacy compliance while maintaining CMDB health. Remote role with DoD clearance requirements; strong JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS expertise; familiarity with Flow Designer, ITIL, and Agile delivery. Certifications in CIS-Discovery, CIS-Event Management, or CIS-Service Mapping plus ServiceNow Certified System Administrator are required; additional CAD or ITIL certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Alignment with DoD 8570/8140 baseline requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent)
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development or technical consulting experience
- Proven experience delivering at least one full-cycle ServiceNow ITOM implementation.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal development.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations and API-based data exchange.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum or SAFe).
- Strong understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing presentation abilities.
- At least one of: CIS-Discovery, CIS-Event Management, CIS-Service Mapping
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
