Job Summary
Design, build, and test a web-based application while editing site content and maintaining website standards against predefined design guidelines. Utilize best practices in web screen design and middleware platforms to source and update data through web screens per functional requirements. Manage image adjustments and ensure cross-browser compatibility, adhering to 508 compliance development standards. This role requires React.js, NodeJS, and RESTful web services proficiency. Candidates must hold active Top Secret clearance and reside in the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area. Azusa Solutions supports enterprise application development and maintenance for clients.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Local to the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area
- Proficient in React.js and NodeJS
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
- Experience building and working with RESTful web services
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab-CI
- Knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience working with open source software
- Bachelor's degree or higher
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in working with relational databases (Postgres and MySQL preferred)
- Experience with AWS containerization
- Experience working in a content management system such as Drupal to create, manage, and theme content
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environment
- 508 compliance development
