Job Summary
Develop and maintain knowledge of post orders, policies, and standards of conduct. Prevent unauthorized access by enforcing client and PGI policies, including badging, lock control, and equipment inspections. Provide security protection for personnel and property within the assigned area, report or respond to incidents and alarms, and monitor surveillance systems. Guide individuals throughout the site, perform access control testing and inspections, and prevent theft of physical or intellectual property. Promote security awareness among client employees, vendors, and contractors. Maintain competency, conduct, and integrity while executing assigned reports and completing required training. Assist with armory and security equipment maintenance tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- A minimum of one (1) year of security, or one year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience; or a minimum of two (2) years of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the US Armed Forces
- 21 years of age
- Ability to complete Arizona Security Guard License, including the application process, fingerprints, and background investigation
- Ability to complete a firearms training course in compliance with Arizona DPS Security Guard License and conduct regularly scheduled sustainment training
- Reliable transportation
- Fluent ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write in English
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening throughout the duration of employment
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum of a US Government TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to bend at the waist, knees, and waist
- Physical ability to perform a variety of training functions
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, walk long distances on a training facility, and operate equipment
- Physically capable of standing a 12-hour post
- Must be available for 12-Hour Panama Schedule (Days/Nights) shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Current Arizona DPS Security Guard License
- Two (2) years of security, military, or law enforcement experience
- Demonstrated history of safe and successful security operations experience in highly secure facilities
- General working knowledge of the Lenel access control system
- Handgun weapons proficiency
