Job Summary
Screen all workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the site while denying prohibited materials like explosives, weapons, or electronic devices. Conduct random inspections of site areas to ensure no contraband is brought on-site and immediately report any suspicious materials or incidents to the Site Security Management. Monitor CCTV and intrusion detection systems, perform roving patrols, and provide personnel and vehicle escorts as required. Operations may include 24/7/365 coverage. Candidates must hold an active US SECRET security clearance, possess a valid Cleared American Guard training certificate, and demonstrate the physical ability to stand, sit, bend, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Active US SECRET Security Clearance
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following categories: (1) Construction, (2) Facility Sustainment Operations, (3) ICD-705 Construction Site Security, (4) US Government/Military Physical Security, (5) Access Control, or (6) Technical Surveillance
- Valid certificate for the successful completion of a twenty-four (24) Hours or greater Cleared American Guard training course
- Ability to perform stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and other related physical activities for extended periods of time
- Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) classification guidelines and procedures ICD/ICS-705
- Successful completion of a CI Polygraph
- Ability to wear a company uniform with a company logo, person's nametag, flashlight and radios
- Possession of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including properly worn hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, footwear, and outerwear as appropriate for anticipated weather condition
- Compliance with all applicable Federal, DoD, and DIA directives, instructions and standard operating procedures
