Job Summary
Cleanroom Technician I on 2nd shift in Scarborough, ME, performing chemical and manual cleaning to ensure parts meet quality, safety, and processing requirements. Follows SOPs and Lean practices, operates equipment, handles hazardous chemicals safely, maintains organized work areas, completes required training, and supports environmental compliance and product quality. Requires ability to handle repetitive tasks, good verbal/written communication, computer literacy (Word/Excel), flexible schedule including some weekends/evenings, and compliance with gowning and safety protocols. Experience in manufacturing, parts cleaning, Kaizen/Lean is a plus; prior semiconductor or high-tech experience is beneficial; travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or related field preferred
- AA degree in a technical field or some college preferred
- 1-year experience in manufacturing processes or materials
- Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies is desired
- Kaizen or Lean training is a major plus
- Media blast experience
- Quality Assurance experience
- High-Tech or Semiconductor experience
