Job Summary

Operate advanced automated equipment for cleaning, polishing, etching, and texturing silicon components while maintaining strict cleanroom standards and contamination control. Execute 5S workplace organization, perform routine and preventive maintenance, and accurately enter production data into ERP systems and batch records. Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, and material handling requirements to ensure high-quality parts meet critical customer specifications. Participate in Tier 1 meetings, shift passdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methods. Requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6pm–6am), and proficiency in hazardous chemical handling and PPE donning.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) credential
  • 1–2 years of experience operating equipment in a manufacturing, cleanroom, laboratory, or similarly controlled environment that requires contamination-control practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability and willingness to work safely around hazardous chemicals and wear cleanroom apparel for 12-hour shifts, including full-body gowning such as hood, mask, gloves, and boot covers; training and PPE provided
  • Ability to learn, understand, and follow work instructions and operating procedures to support consistent product quality
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate manufacturing systems, software applications, and web-based platforms
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Night Shift: 6pm - 6am

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in cleanroom environments or similarly regulated settings, such as laboratory operations, chemical processing, food manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, or semiconductor manufacturing
  • Hands‐on experience handling hazardous chemicals and utilizing appropriate PPE and safety procedures
  • Ability to trouble shoot technical issues and resolve technical issues related to manufacturing processes and production equipment
  • Ability to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and adapt quickly to support achievement of performance goals
  • Experience working with Silicon, glass, quartz, or other brittle material
