Job Summary
Conduct janitorial and waste removal services in warehouse welfare, social, and production areas using walk-behind and ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers. Handle on-site waste streams, respond to spillages and client callouts, and maintain cleaning equipment in safe working order. Wear protective clothing and comply with Health & Safety legislation while communicating effectively with team members and line managers. Work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Full training on cleaning methods and equipment is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory response from Disclosure Board at a basic level
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Willingness to learn
- High attention to detail
- An ability to work under pressure
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- An ability to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- This is an active role that requires you to be physically fit
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process
- Completing a basic DBS check
- Submitting to random drug and alcohol testing
