Job Summary
Sweep, vacuum, scrub, and buff hard surfaces and carpets onsite at Carlson client locations while performing restroom cleaning and debris removal. Conduct quality control checks on all cleaning tasks and operate floor machines with sufficient physical strength to lift 45 pounds and maneuver equipment over concrete, tile, and carpeted floors. Work night shifts and early morning hours as dictated by operational needs, maintaining a collaborative relationship with Building Maintenance team members and interacting respectfully with customers and store personnel. Complete new hire training to uphold Carlson's standards across our 240 properties in the Upper Midwest.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work on weekends
- Reliable transportation or access to public transportation
- Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds
- Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors
- Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors
- Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products
- Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position
