Job Summary
Conduct floor maintenance for hard surfaces and carpet, including scrubbing, buffing, extraction, vacuuming, sweeping, and debris cleanup at Carlson client locations. Perform restroom cleaning, operate floor machines, and execute quality control checks while interacting with customers and store personnel respectfully. Complete new hire training and work under limited supervision in a collaborative team environment. Availability for weekends, night shifts, and early morning hours is required. Must possess physical strength to lift 45 pounds and operate equipment on various floor types.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work on weekends
- Reliable transportation or access to public transportation
- Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds
- Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors
- Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors
- Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products
- Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position
