Job Summary
Lead Hand Cleaning Technician responsible for assisting in coaching staff, maintaining supplies and equipment, serving as on-site client contact, and performing cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, restroom stocking, debris removal). Requires strong cleaning knowledge, safety protocol adherence, and the ability to manage inventory and provide on-site supervision across GTA client locations. Must be bondable, have a valid Ontario driver’s license, and be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities also include reporting to site, supporting training, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning
- Supervisor experience considered an asset
- Familiarity with WHMIS and OHSA
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Bondable (Criminal Record Check)
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
