Job Summary
Conduct floor maintenance on hard surfaces and carpets, including scrubbing, buffing, extraction, vacuuming, sweeping, and debris cleanup at Carlson client locations. Perform restroom cleaning, operate floor machines, and execute quality control checks while representing Carlson by interacting respectfully with customers and store personnel. Complete new hire training and maintain close vision, distance vision, and color vision to adjust focus as needed. Work limited supervision onsite, rotating through night shifts and early morning hours as dictated by position needs.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work on weekends
- Reliable transportation or access to public transportation
- Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds
- Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors
- Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors
- Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products
- Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position
