Cleaning Team Leader - SPA

Spa Cleaning Team Leader role based in London (Craven Cottage, Stevenage Rd). The position requires supervising and motivating the cleaning team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the spa facility. Responsibilities include allocating daily duties, conducting regular inspections, providing on-the-job training, monitoring attendance and performance, assisting with recruitment and induction, and acting as first point of contact during shifts. Operational duties include cleaning treatment rooms, relaxation areas, changing rooms, poolside areas, saunas, steam rooms, reception areas, and staff facilities; conducting audits and quality checks; coordinating deep-cleaning programmes; maintaining cleaning equipment and stock records; ensuring COSHH compliance and health & safety practices; and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role also involves administrative duties such as shift reports and workforce planning, with flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and special events. Essential skills include leadership, attention to detail, problem-solving, prioritisation, and strong customer service, all within a luxury spa/hospitality context.
