Job Summary
As Cleaning Supervisor at Dexterra Group, supervise cleaning operations at the Vancouver location, manage budgeted hours, assign daily tasks to employees, inspect performance, train new cleaning personnel on health & safety procedures, ensure PPE is available and used, maintain timekeeping records, handle inventory control, and oversee the daily Preventative Maintenance Program while responding to customer requests and maintaining quality standards. Must navigate unionized environment and adhere to collective agreements; role requires flexibility for weekend and holiday work and a clear criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' cleaning and supervisory experience in a large facility
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience working in a unionized environment and ability to work with Collective Agreement
- Clear criminal background check required
- Flexible start and end times; weekend and statutory holiday work required
