Job Summary
Oversee a team of 11 cleaners across three buildings by allocating daily tasks, organizing staff rotas, and conducting regular inspections to maintain high site standards. Carry out cleaning duties alongside the team while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and COSHH regulations. Provide guidance and training to team members, monitor equipment and consumable stock levels, and liaise with site management on cleaning-related requests. Complete relevant paperwork and reports accurately. Work Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 7:30pm (22.5 hours per week) at Princes Parade, Liverpool Docks, reporting to the Associate Key Accounts Director.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience within a cleaning, facilities or soft services environment
- Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or senior cleaning role
- Strong understanding of cleaning methods, standards and best practices
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and COSHH requirements
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to motivate, support and develop a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across several buildings
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional standards
