Job Summary
Perform visual inspections of casting surfaces to identify defects and grind, sand, clean, or polish castings to remove imperfections. Remove gates and risers using saws and hand tools, then set up and operate grinding equipment and robotic cells to finish parts. Secure and handle castings with clamps and hoist assist, verify finished parts meet specifications, and maintain tools and work area cleanliness.
