Job Summary
Empty trash, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors in the buildings, parking lots, and outside plaza shops under the supervision of the Ecology Manager and Leads. Assist with preparation and break down of special events and parties, and help guests with needs and questions. Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining confidentiality and dealing with a wide range of people. This part-time role in the Ecology Department requires flexible hours including weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, and overtime as required. Candidates must demonstrate experience with cleaning tasks, handle heavy workloads, and possess knowledge of chemicals and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working in a related position involving cleaning tasks
- ability to cope with extremely heavy workload
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and on the telephone
- ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
- ability to deal successful with a wide range of people
- ability to work under pressure of deadlines and competing needs
- skill in the care and use of tools and equipment
- knowledge of use of chemicals
- Ability to stoop, walk, and stand for long periods
- ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs
- speak clearly and distinctly
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
- Screening tests for alcohol and illegal drug use
- Work flexible hours, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required
- ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions
