Job Summary
Cleaning Operative at Harmeny Education Trust on a part-time basis (25 hours/week, 7am–12:30pm, Mon-Fri) within the Catering and Domestic team. Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, emptying bins, cleaning toilets/sinks/showers/baths, windows, bed making, laundry support (stock counting, delivering uniforms/bedding), assisting Homemakers to maintain homely cottages, following cleaning schedules, maintaining cleaning materials stock, reporting repairs, attending staff meetings and trainings, and performing other duties as delegated. Essential skills include experience in cleaning duties, teamwork, organizational and methodical work style, initiative, COSHH knowledge, high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, willingness to work across residential cottages, and confidentiality around sensitive information.
