Job Summary
Operate scrubbers and buffers, perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows to maintain a clean and organized store environment. Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards while supporting front end coverage needs and initiating store recovery as required. Cross-train in multiple store areas including the backroom, front end, and sales floor to support business needs. Uphold health and safety policies, merchandising philosophy, and signage standards while modeling customer experience practices with internal and external customers. Part-time position at a Marshalls store in Milpitas, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Strong communication skills: verbal and written
- Listens and responds appropriately
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Retail customer experience preferred
