Job Summary
Cleaners to join Downer’s Integrated Facilities Management team for Stockland’s national portfolio. Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning of facilities (floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas), cleaning and sanitising high-touch areas, replenishing supplies, emptying bins and disposing of waste per safety guidelines, operating cleaning equipment safely, and reporting maintenance issues. Follow health and safety procedures, maintain a professional approach, and support high-quality outcomes for clients. Requirements include experience in cleaning roles across commercial/residential environments, knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemicals, ability to work independently, and willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including Working with Children’s Check, National Police Check, and medical.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning roles across commercial, residential, or similar environments
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Understanding of workplace health and safety and basic sanitation practices
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to follow procedures, communicate effectively, and report issues as required
- Must have Working with Children’s Check or be willing to obtain
- Prepared to undertake necessary pre-employment checks which includes National Police Check and medical
