Job Summary
Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing tasks in common areas including lobbies, hallways, staircases, elevators, gyms, and amenity rooms. Collect and dispose of garbage while following proper waste disposal procedures. Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking paper products and hand soap as needed. Report maintenance issues to the site manager and maintain inventory for cleaning supplies. Provide friendly customer service to residents and proactively identify areas for improvement. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. This is a temporary 2–3-month contract with an hourly range of $18.00–$21.00. Ideal schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a residential or commercial building cleaning role
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 25 lbs
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems (WHMIS) is an asset
