Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and waste areas. Inspect and clean windows, window frames, baseboards, walls, handrails, air vents, signage, and light fixtures. Detail clean gym floors, auxiliary rooms, and under equipment using vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops. Assist in front desk operations, including Point of Sale use, and communicate with members to maintain high service levels. Remove trash and organize storage rooms, notifying management of low cleaning supply inventory. Operate standard custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums in a fitness club environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality skills
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Must be team oriented, motivated, and well organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
