Job Summary
The Cleaner performs cleaning and general upkeep of an assigned area. Duties include emptying trash and replacing can liners; dusting, wiping, and spot-cleaning furniture, fixtures, and equipment; cleaning, sanitizing fixtures and bathrooms, restocking supplies; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; cleaning cafeterias or eating areas; and other duties as required by the contract. Must follow safety procedures for cleaning chemicals/equipment, communicate irregularities or damage, adhere to security protocols, wear company-issued shirts, maintain professionalism, and work with minimal supervision. Requires punctuality and a professional demeanor; background check and drug screening are required. Shift: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning role is required
- Demonstrated good customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public
- A positive attitude and a strong, reliable work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
