Job Summary
Sanitize patient rooms and public spaces throughout the hospital, including vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding, and re-stocking bathrooms. Communicate fluently with patients, families, doctors, nurses, and staff while handling cleaning chemicals and bodily fluids. Wear provided PPE and work independently to maintain infection control standards. This part-time day shift role offers 8-hour rotations with weekend differentials, starting at $17.88 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Must be able to wear Hospital Scrubs (pants)
- Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to operate mechanical lifts
- Must be able to work with chemicals
- Must be able to come in contact with bodily fluids
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a health assessment
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
