Job Summary
Cleaners to join Downer’s national facilities-management portfolio responsible for routine cleaning of commercial spaces across a portfolio, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas. Roles include sanitising high-touch areas, replenishing supplies, waste disposal, operating cleaning equipment safely, and adhering to health and safety procedures, with independence and strong work ethic emphasized. Located at Green Hills Town Centre – East Maitland NSW; reporting to Facilities Manager with emphasis on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Working with Children’s Check or be willing to obtain
- Prepared to undertake necessary pre-employment checks which includes National Police Check and medical.
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals (use of polishers, scrubbers and buffers highly desirable)
- Understanding of workplace health and safety and basic sanitation practices
