Job Summary
Machine Shop Cleaner & Finisher to clean and finish machined parts, following verbal and written instructions. Responsibilities include operating hand tools, pneumatic grinders, and other shop equipment; cleaning castings and removing excess material; stamping and serializing parts; assisting with inspection; operating forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, hand trucks, and floor trucks; verifying documentation; transporting materials; maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area; wearing PPE and following safety procedures. Required: ability to read/write English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training in welding or related trades preferred; prior experience in machining/inspection/manufacturing/industrial environments preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and write in English
- Vocational training in welding or related trades preferred
- Previous experience in machining, inspection, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
- Ability to safely use hand tools and industrial equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs.
- Must have strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate on precision tasks
- Must be able to distinguish color contrast and pass visual acuity requirements
