Job Summary
The Cleaner role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe facility through daily tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, servicing restrooms, and trash/recycling removal. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms and work areas, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming floors, inspecting areas for valuables, reporting mechanical or electrical issues, moving cleaning equipment safely, and upholding safety procedures. Requires attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred and prior cleaning experience is valued; knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment is expected. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate in an indoor environment with potential exposure to cleaning chemicals is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cleaner or Janitor preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
