Job Summary
Empty all trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and ensure receptacles are clean. Clean and disinfect restrooms, work areas, and high-touch surfaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors following the assigned cleaning route. Inspect areas for items of value and place anything found on the nearest table or desk. Report any mechanical or electrical issues or broken equipment to the supervisor. Move cleaning carts and equipment safely and maintain supplies in good working order. Follow all safety procedures and company protocols. Work primarily indoors with occasional outdoor tasks, moving throughout the facility while handling cleaning chemicals. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to designated cleaning sequences.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Professional and neat appearance required.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cleaner or Janitor preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
- Ability to maintain clean, organized, and sanitary restrooms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow routines, instructions, and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
