Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of heating, cooling, lighting, and alarm systems to ensure operational integrity and report or resolve issues immediately. Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks, or source, book, and supervise contractors for specialist work. Manage site security by opening the building at the start of the day, securing doors and windows, and setting alarms. Address safety and maintenance concerns while adhering to Health & Safety regulations. Work within a team environment focusing on customer experience and problem-solving. This 20-hour weekly role supports the Acis team in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for the community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in carrying out general DIY jobs
- In-depth understanding of maintenance procedures
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment, contractors and suppliers
- Focus on customer experience
- Ability to problem-solve and address any safety and maintenance concerns
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of maintaining a site or set of buildings to a high standard and spec
- Ensuring security and safety of people on site
- Awareness of safety and ability to implement Health & Safety regulations
