Job Summary
Join a collaborative team of engineers and modellers as a Clean Water Modeller/Engineer. You will develop computer models to investigate water network issues, analyze data, and support engineering solutions for clients. Responsibilities include preparing health and safety risk assessments, developing reports, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to technical innovation. Required qualifications include a relevant degree and experience in clean water modelling, with knowledge of UK water industry and regulatory issues. Senior roles necessitate proven technical leadership and project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BSc/BEng/MEng degree level in Geography, GIS, Science, Engineering related subject or equivalent
- Experience in clean water modelling
- Technical leadership experience for senior roles
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Clean water modelling and distribution networks
- Building and calibrating network models
- Using network models for planning, operational and design purposes
- Management of Detailed Zonal Studies delivery
- Pressure Management and DMA Design
- Experience with Synergi, InfoWorks WS, EPANET, InfoWater and other modelling software
- Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects
- Ability to check the work of others to provide quality assurance
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must provide proof of residency in the UK for 5 years or longer for security clearance if required
