Job Summary
Production Technician will support their team to manufacture single-use assemblies in an ISO CLASS 7 Cleanroom. Responsibilities include building various Single-Use assemblies per work instructions and prints, cleaning, and packaging; proper cleanroom preparation activities; operate and maintain production equipment as per SOPs; participate in continuous improvement processes; comply with ISO and cGMP regulations; daily organization (5S) and cleanliness of work area to comply with regulatory requirements; participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results; performs other duties as assigned. Skills and qualifications include reading and interpreting product schematics, basic computer skills (Word and Excel), Lean Manufacturing concepts, and the ability to work in a GMP/manufacturing environment; must be able to lift 50lbs and communicate effectively in a team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent work experience in related fields
- Basic experience using Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in single-use for bioprocess, medical devices or other GMP environment
- Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum
- Detailed oriented and disciplined
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Comfortable reading and interpreting product schematics
