Clean Products Pipeline Operator

Job Summary
Execute daily operational activities by scheduling movements via pipeline distribution channels and ensuring relevant data is captured accurately. Fulfill contract terms for batches, book-outs, purchase, sale, line space deals, and exchange contracts while monitoring and reconciling gains/losses/tariffs across each cycle. Liaise with Trade Finance for issuing L/C's and P/Us, validate cycle positions for the trader daily, and coordinate with terminals for product off lines and delivery plans. Confirm accurate monthly inventory positions for gasoline and distillate grades, update the Pluto system, and report transaction costs to the deals desk. Train less experienced team members and escalate operational issues to the Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Colonial, Explorer, Buckeye, Laurel, Magellan, Teppco and/or other clean product pipelines
- Basic understanding of relevant petroleum product specifications
- Good understanding of the different types of financial instruments, their uses and its importance
- Experience of scheduling terminals, rack and/or USWC
- Experience in scheduling pipeline to supply truck racks throughout the US, coordinating throughput, inventory and pricing
- Knowledge and experience in use of Transport 4
- Experience in the NYMEX futures obligations
