Job Summary
Operate the Disability Supports Clayworks Retail Site by serving as a professional steward, running point of sale cash and credit card transactions, and promoting the program to shoppers with exceptional customer service. Collaborate with all staff and clients, participate in assigned downtown and civic programs to promote goodwill, and handle internet-based retail transactions. Maintain facilities to the highest standards while adhering to scheduled hours for a full-time position of at least 40 hours per pay week. Shifts vary, and the role requires moderate noise tolerance, travel between store and office, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Prompt, consistent attendance
- Full Time position of a least 40 hours per Sunday - Saturday pay week
- Adhere to scheduled hours

- General understanding of the importance of customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and the general public
- Demonstrate compassion and respect for individuals with disabilities
- Basic mathematical skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to push and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Travel required to transport transactions and paper work between store and office
