CLASSROOM TEACHER (Social Studies)

To implement the district’s philosophy of education and instructional goals through instruction and action. Develop lesson plans and provide individualized or small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to diverse learning needs. Translate lesson plans into engaging experiences, employ a variety of instructional techniques and media, assess academic, behavioral, and social growth, and maintain accurate records. Communicate progress with students and parents, participate in curriculum development, staff meetings, and collaborative evaluation, and promote positive relationships with the school community. Maintain professional competence and adhere to the district’s governance, policies, and ethics for Kentucky certified personnel, while ensuring safety and effective use of instructional resources. Create a culture of open communication and support student welfare and educational development.
