Job Summary
Assist classroom teaching staff in infant/toddler and preschool classrooms; maintain a safe, neat, organized learning environment that is welcoming, nurturing, and high functioning. Support developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education; pursue CDA credential or associate/bachelor’s degree; must have EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool certification or pending application. Eligible for tuition assistance. Shift is Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, 7:30 am–5:30 pm. Location in Taunton, MA (Taunton, Riverway, Taunton area). English is primary with encouragement for bilingual applicants (Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian-Creole). Required Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma
- Must have or commit to enroll in a CDA credential program within 2 years
- Must be EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher certified or have a pending application
- Knowledge and experience in early childhood education
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to change
- 40 hours per week
- Shift between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm
