Job Summary
Assist classroom teaching staff in infant/toddler and preschool settings by facilitating and guiding activities, maintaining a safe, neat, and welcoming learning environment, and supporting developmentally appropriate practices. Requires a minimum high school diploma, enrollment or commitment to CDA credential program (within two years) or pursuing an associate’s/bachelor’s degree, and EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher certification (or pending). Strong collaboration skills and flexibility are essential to thrive in a team setting. Salary ranges from $17.79 to $24.00 per hour, with full benefits and a Monday–Friday, 40-hour work week from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Required Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma
- Must enroll in CDA credential program within 2 years of hire (or pursuing Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree)
- Must be EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher certified or have pending certification
- Knowledge and experience in early childhood education & developmentally appropriate practices
- Team-oriented with ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive approach
