Classroom Teacher

Create an educational environment conducive to learning while preparing instructional materials and maintaining classroom management standards. Assess student accomplishments on a timetable, administer tests, and provide written and oral progress reports to parents and administrators. Plan curriculum and lessons that meet individual student needs based on educational, physical, and emotional development levels. Confers with parents, specialists, and resource staff to develop educational programs, instructs students using strategies to improve cognitive and social skills, and motivates learners through consistent reinforcement. Maintain accurate records required by law and regulations, assist administration in implementing policies, and sponsor student activities or clubs as requested.
