Job Summary
Classroom Teacher III responsible for planning and delivering early childhood education using the Creative Curriculum System and Head Start frameworks; schedule and conduct home visits, parent/teacher conferences, developmental screenings, and assessments; document classroom observations and progress; develop individualized plans with families; implement IEP/IFSP goals; maintain required records and communicate with families; ensure CACFP compliance, health/safety policies, and collaboration with staff to support arrival, departure, and bus communications; participation in staff trainings and potential support for other teaching staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field with at least 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- State-issued Teaching License to act as a pre-kindergarten or early childhood teacher if the degree is not related
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Basic computer skills (data entry and internet)
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
- Willingness to work flexible and/or irregular hours with some travel
