Job Summary
Classroom Teacher for Intermediate (4th-6th grade) in Carrizo Springs, TX. Provides instruction in core academic subjects, develops and implements lessons aligned with district curricula and TEA requirements, assesses student learning and growth, and collaborates with special education staff to accommodate IEPs. Responsible for creating a productive learning environment, managing classroom behavior, supervising instructional aides/volunteers, and supporting extracurricular activities as assigned. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and Texas teaching certificate with endorsements; AED/CPR certification may be required for PE assignments. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, plus ongoing professional development and adherence to district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

- Experience: student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
