Job Summary
As a Classroom Support Aide, you will assist the Teacher or Lead Teacher in implementing classroom activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. Responsibilities include conducting small group activities, supervising children during play, observing and reporting behavior, setting up equipment, serving meals, and maintaining records of children's health needs. The position requires effective interaction with children and parents, as well as knowledge of child development and management techniques.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively interact with children and communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework in early childhood education preferred.
- Experience working with children and families strongly preferred.
