Job Summary
Support classroom staff in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences while actively supervising children to ensure safety and well-being. Follow lesson plans, classroom routines, and behavior guidance strategies, and assist with meals, family-style dining, and daily care routines. Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment and work collaboratively with teaching teams. Support children with special needs by following IFSPs/IEPs when applicable. This role requires an Infant/Toddler or Preschool CDA, an Associate's Degree, and 3+ years of experience in a center-based setting. You must be reliable, punctual, and able to lift up to 30 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Infant/Toddler or Preschool CDA
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a center-based early childhood setting
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stand, and move throughout the day
- Must pass background checks, physical exam, and meet Head Start requirements
- Reliable transportation
