Classroom Instructional Aide - ISS

Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher, assisting in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities. Deliver instruction to students working individually or in small groups while helping maintain a neat, orderly classroom environment. Support the teacher by preparing instructional materials, administering and scoring objective tests, and maintaining administrative records. Supervise students throughout the school day, including lunchroom, bus, and playground duty, and assist substitute teachers with orientation. Make the teacher aware of special needs or problems regarding individual students. Work inside and outside in various weather conditions, performing light lifting and carrying tasks. Participate in staff development training and faculty meetings as assigned.
