Job Summary
Deliver appropriate childcare and support for school readiness skills to children in the Head Start program, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations. Provide comprehensive services while maintaining a schedule of 186 days per year, working part-time from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for five hours. This role is situated at Kirkland Ranch K8 in Wesley Chapel, FL, and requires a High School Diploma or GED, along with satisfactory completion of American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED courses.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited institution
- Satisfactory completion of American Red Cross First Aid course, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course, or complete within three months of hire
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or complete within two years of hire
- All hires must meet the Early Childhood physical examination requirements
