Job Summary
Deliver appropriate childcare and support for school readiness skills to children in the Head Start program, providing comprehensive services while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations. Work four hours daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Rodney B. Cox Elementary in Dade City, FL, for an 186-day school year. This part-time, non-benefit eligible role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, with a Child Development Associate credential obtainable within two years of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited institution
- Satisfactory completion of American Red Cross First Aid course, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course, or complete within three months of hire
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or complete within two years of hire
- All hires must meet the Early Childhood physical examination requirements
- Level II background screening
