Classroom Assistant

Assist teachers in instructing and directing student activities to maintain a well-organized classroom environment. Reinforce knowledge and skills taught by the classroom teacher while administering and grading tests, recording grades, and substituting as needed. Support students with exercises, material preparation, and basic health needs, including escorting children and monitoring behavior. Manage computer labs by enrolling students, maintaining records, troubleshooting problems, and supervising students in a clean facility. Create bulletin board displays, prepare instructional materials, and assist with Braille teaching and computer instruction. Supervise students during bus loading/unloading, field trips, lunch, and on school grounds while interacting with teachers, parents, and administrators. Maintain accurate student records, clean the classroom, and adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards.
