Job Summary
Provide active, fully engaged supervision of children at all times while maintaining classroom ratios. Help meet each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs by organizing and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities under the direction of the classroom teacher. Assist in maintaining classroom cleanliness and compliance with state child care licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and Pre-Kindergarten standards. Work as part of a team with lead teachers to ensure individual needs are met for the 200+ children served annually.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one year of classroom experience with the applicable age range
- Ability to pass OCFS Complete Background Check including SEL, SCR
Desired Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- Knowledge of NYS OCFS regulations
