Classroom Aide - School Age - After Care (School Year 26-27/MD)

Plan learning activities balancing active and quiet periods, group and individual tasks, and cognitive and physical experiences based on the Wonders Extended Day Curriculum. Implement policies and procedures while actively participating in team planning sessions to lead age-appropriate, process-oriented activities that encourage creativity and problem-solving. Maintain open communication with the Program Director regarding children, families, and team members, while assisting in orientating and training new team members. Establish behavior management strategies, participate in accreditation processes, and communicate regularly with families to inform them of curriculum and solicit development updates. Ensure program spaces are safe, clean, organized, and engaging while supporting children's understanding of diversity. Work extended hours on half and full-service days, including winter and spring breaks, and early release days.
